Triangle Card Tutorial.

 Hi Everyone,

Hazel here today with a tutorial on how to make this triangle card. Its just something a bit different from the usual.

You will need
A 12" Ruler,
Score Board
12 x 12 Card
Backing Papers.
Images of your choice.
Pollyanna Pickering's Wildlife Adventures DVD-Rom Coming Soon
I have used papers and images from the Wildlife Adventure DVD rom.
Take your 12 x 12 piece of card and mark the top of it at 6".
This is so you know where the centre point is.
Then you draw 12 inch lines up to middle of the card to create the triangle.
 Cut your triangle out.
Next you mark halfway along the sides at 6". Then draw faintly with your pencil the shape you see here. That's your 4 main shapes done.
You now draw a line at 2" in each triangle as above.
You make your folds along the lines next.
Next is the decoration. I use the card as a template. So I draw round the triangle and then cut it out slightly smaller.
You can use whatever you like for the image and sentiment. I did the panda one and then decided to make a lion one as well. I decorated the straight areas on both sides as when the card is folded you can see the back of the straight parts.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.

Thanks for dropping  by today,

Card Tutorial from Lisa

Hello Crafters,
Today I want to share a card design with you

I have used this design on a couple of cards and each time I have been really happy with the result.

You will need:

The paper boutique enchanted Christmas collection - Spicy Pickle
Creative crafting straight edged 8" x 8" card
Lynda’s white card
Red card
Foam pads
Double sided tape/wet glue

First of all choose four different pattern papers for this design, two sheets of plain paper and a topper from the Spicy Pickle paper pads.

For the card base measure the following:

Red paper 19.5cms by 19.5cms
White card 18cms by 18cms
Red paper 17.5cms by 17.5cms
White card 17cms by 17cms
Red card 16.5cms by 16.5cms
Pattern paper 14.5cms by 14.5cms

Matt and layer each of these onto the white card base. Use either double sided tape or wet glue.

This is what your card should now look like

Next cut the following:

White card 6.5cms by 5cms
Patterned paper 6cms by 4.5cms
White card 6.5cms by 8cms
Pattered paper 6cms by 7.5cms
White card 13.5cms by 6cms
Pattered paper 13cms by 5.5cms

Matted and layer these together, for example the white card 6.5cms by 5cms is a base for the patterned paper 6cms by 4.5cms. ) Either use double sided tape or wet glue.

The topper is matted and layered on to white card measuring approx 9cms by 7.5cms, using foam pads. This will add dimension to the design.

Next arrange these onto the card, please see picture for reference.

As this card has a lot of layers on the front you will need to add a little bit of weight to the inside of the card.

To do this add a piece of red card measuring 18cms by 18cms and then matted and layered a piece of white card measuring 17cms by 17cms and add a sentiment and message

Remember you can use any cards and papers to make this design using the measurements above.
